The ancient art of Tapestry was originally done by weaving or embroidery methods. The popularity and demand for this art form grew in the Middle Ages when the art of painted tapestry (also referred to as 'Water Works') was introduced.

Anja Longenecker is continuing this art form at ZINCLAIR studios with the use of UV resistant paints on fine European linen. Each tapestry is then lined and equipped with sturdy linen tabs at the top edge for proper hanging from a rod.
ZINCLAIR studios is also excited to offer now printed limited editions of tapestries, to satisfy the growing demand for this unique wall art. The printed tapestries look so much like the painted originals that even experts can't see the difference.
*Because of their portability, these beautiful painted tapestries are a wonderful alternative to to murals. Any size is possible (minimum of 15 square feet).
*We welcome questions about commissions and/or pricing.
